1st July - Inter-Club TT with Reading CC.

<< HCC175 Course Map >>

This was the first time we have used the HCC175 course and  there was a big turnout for the home leg of the interclub TT with NHRC. Both clubs had most of their best riders out and it was clear that the course and the conditions would lead to some fast times.

Fastest on the night was Billy Girvan of NHRC who set a blistering time of 20:19 . Second went to RCC rider Nick English with 20:57 , third and 31 seconds further back was Steve Bale with 21:38 .

The Interclub competition was to be over the best five male riders and fastest lady. NHRC was not able to field a lady rider so only the fastest five male riders counted. RCC won the second leg by a slender 20 seconds posting a total of 1:48:22 against NHRC 1:48:42. The squares the series as NHRC won the first leg on the Heckfield circuit.

Next weeks sees a return to the A4 with the club TT been over 25 miles on the H25/1 course. This is the last of three 25 mile events been ran by the club this year.
