Monday Night Training Rides:

Every Monday starting May 2008 and continuing throughout the summer the North Hampshire Road Club will lead you on a ride through the lanes of
Monk Sherborne, Bramley, Mortimer and Pamber Green/End. The North Hampshire Road Club meets at Monk Sherborne village hall (opposite the Mole public house) at 6.30pm with the rides starting at 6:45pm, the routes will take approximately an hour to complete.
Regular & new riders welcome.
You will finish back at Monk Sherborne village hall. There are normally three groups,
a leisurely one for riders who wish to bring their children or just want a steady ride
and two for the slightly more energetic and enthusiastic ones. You are advised to
bring with you, spare inner tube(s), tyre levers, and a pump. Please ensure your
cycles are in a roadworthy condition (i.e. brakes that work, tyres that are not bald or badly perished,
and all nuts and bolts tightly secured). Anyone looking to take part can just turn up.
If you have any queries  please contact Stu Carver on, 0118 9810491.

Winter Months:
Both members and non-members are welcome at club room every week.
Here you can  catch up on the latest cycling chit-chat.
Plus normal cross to The Mole pub for some refreshment!
However we don't meet on Bank Holiday Mondays

  Club Runs

  Sunday Club Runs
The North Hampshire Road Club Sunday club runs depart The club room at 9am.

The objective is to ride approx 50 to 60 miles and aim to be back in the Basingstoke area for 1pm.
There is normally a café stop.

You'll need to carry at least enough equipment to repair a puncture(s) and be comfortable riding
in a group. It's also a good idea to carry food and drink to keep you going and extra kit for wet
and cold weather. Also money for food and drink at café stop.

The routes are tried and tested and you'll get to know the local area quite well. There is no
formal organization it's just a case of who ever turns up on the day bearing in mind races,
  domestic commitments etc.
