The club always needs volunteers to become ride leaders. Being a Ride Leader is a rewarding activity, enabling more people to experience the joy of cycling and the fantastic countryside we are very lucky to have in this area.

No formal qualifications are needed but ideally, you should have experience of riding in a group and be confident in all types of road and traffic conditions. The club provides the routes and the risk assessments and the club is affiliated with Cycling UK and British Cycling which provides insurance for club activities including ride leading.
